MOHAMMAD ALIM, FOUNDER & CEO

A successful entrepreneur from Bangladesh, Mohammad has spent a lifetime building highimpact social enterprises in developing countries. He is also a past consultant of the World Bank, where he worked to increase energy access across Bangladesh. He is a MaRS IMPACT 8 Fellow and NEXTAI Finalist.

SHAMIM AHMED, CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

With a Masters in Computer Science and Machine Learning and a specialty in machine learning, Shamim has expertise in building AI integrated software, and has spent a lifetime building software for major companies from Manulife to CGI. He is also a NEXTAI Finalist.

QUINN UNDERWOOD, DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

A University of Toronto student studying Immunology and Health Studies, Quinn is a lead researcher in the field of mobile health (mHealth) technology and its revolutionary potential to “reach the hard to reach” – with experience working in India and Myanmar on mHealth, growing and scaling organizations, and business management.

KAYES HASAN, CFO

Seasoned banking professional with 15+ years’ experience in corporate and investment banking. As Chief Executive Officer in LankaBangla Investments Ltd, one of the leading merchant banks in Bangladesh including HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank, he successfully completed a number of transactions including IPO, Private Equity Raising, Corporate Merger and Restructuring, Bond Issuance, Preferred Share Issuance etc. He obtained his CFA Charter in 2007 and is a regular member of CFA Institute.

JAMAL UDDIN, DIRECTOR

Jamal Uddin is an Inclusive business start-up mentor and expert with more than 14 years of experience in inclusive business ideation and development, HR business partnering, employee engagement, organizational development and supply chain management in Bangladesh. He has work experience in FMCG, Garments manufacturing and food processing sector on the other hand with international development organization.
